They are consistently able to fit me in quickly, and Bruce does an excellent job of explaining things in a way that’s easy to understand for someone who isn’t very knowledgeable about cars. Their pricing is fair and transparent, which I really appreciate. As a woman, it’s refreshing to feel respected and never taken advantage of. The team genuinely cares about their customers, and the little lolly treat left in my car is always a lovely touch! Thanks team!
Will always recommend A1 to anyone when it comes to mechanics. I know my car is in good hands, I've never felt pressured into paying for something I don't need and the work is reliable and of high quality. I love that they always leave a little bag of lollies in the car too. A little gesture but always brings a smile to my face :)

Fast and efficient service. was given a courtesy car which was super handy having a baby and living in the country. Bruce went into bat for us with the mechanical insurance company which saved us money. communication was outstanding. overall best car service where I felt completely looked after.

Excellent mechanic workshop, highly recommended! I had an appointment to replace the timing belt, but the day before, I started hearing a strange noise coming from one of the front wheels. I mentioned it to the mechanic when I arrived, as I was about to start a trip to the south that same night and wanted to make sure everything was safe. Even though it wasn’t related to the scheduled work, they checked the wheel and helped me out—at no extra cost. On top of that, the timing belt and water pump replacement went perfectly. Very grateful!
Bruce has consistently gone above and beyond for our family. He is amazing at explaining things simply for myself (and our homeschooled boys) to understand. And he's great at working with us to come up with solutions that help save us money when necessary. Also their loan cars are in great condition and a joy to drive. Our car was having trouble with the starter motor and could have stopped working at any moment. After reading the reviews, we took it to A1 on Wednesday morning. At first, we were told, "We're fully booked today and can’t take any more jobs." But after seeing how disappointed I was, Bruce said, "I’ll work something out. Come back tomorrow morning," and managed to squeeze us into the schedule. The next morning when I went to pick up the car, I knew that Bruce had come in at 6 a.m. just to fix our vehicle. He worked hard in the cold winter morning just for us! Our whole family was truly moved by his dedication and genuine kindness. There aren't many garages that provide such honest and heartfelt service. We've become big fans of A1. Without a doubt, we highly recommend this place. Thank you, Bruce!
I have been sending my cars to A1 for years now, and have had fantastic service. More recently under new management A1 has continued to deliver the goods and is going from strength to strength. Bruce really gets to know and understand the customer, and then always provides such a great in-depth explanation of what is going on. Always great to catch up with Bruce and I know my cars are in the best of hands.
